Delete your Althio account
Use this page to ask Althio, Inc., the developer of the Althio app, to delete your account and the data linked to it. You can do this at any time, even if you no longer have the app installed.
How to request deletion
1. Fill in the form below with the email address you use to sign in to Althio.
2. We will email you from support@althio.ai to confirm that the request comes from you.
3. Once you confirm, we delete your account and data within 30 days and email you when it is done.
You can also email support@althio.ai from your account email address with the subject “Delete my account”.
What we delete
Your Althio account and profile: your name, email address and sign-in details.
The data linked to your account, including session recordings, transcripts, notes, messages, assessments, uploaded files and AI assistant conversations, subject to the clinic section below.
If you use Althio through a clinic
Althio keeps health information on behalf of the clinics that use it. If your account is linked to a clinic, we will tell the clinic about your request.
Some records may be part of your clinic’s care record, which the clinic may be required by law to keep. In that case we close your account and remove your access, and the clinic decides what happens to those records. You can also contact your clinic directly.
What we keep, and for how long
Encrypted backups are overwritten within 35 days of deletion.
Security and system logs, which may include your email address or account ID, are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted.
We keep a record of your deletion request and when it was completed, so we can show it was handled. Where the law requires us to keep other information longer, we keep only that information, only for as long as required.
