Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you use the Althio website and services. Last updated 15 October 2026.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to your use of althio.ai and the Althio app (together, the “services”), provided by Althio, Inc. (“Althio”, “we”, “us”). By using the services you agree to these terms. If you use the services for an organisation, you confirm that you can accept these terms for it.

If your organisation has signed a separate agreement with us, that agreement applies, and it takes priority over these terms where they differ.

2. Our services

Althio provides software that helps behavioral health clinics record, transcribe and document care, and support people in care between sessions. We may change, improve or stop parts of the services over time.

3. Your account

You must give accurate information when you create an account and keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us at once at support@althio.ai if you think someone has used it without permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to break the law using the services, access data or accounts you are not allowed to access, interfere with or overload the services, upload harmful code, try to copy or reverse engineer the services, or use them to build a competing product.

5. Your content

You, or your clinic, keep ownership of the information you put into the services. You give us permission to use it only to provide and support the services for you. Health information is handled under our agreement with your clinic and our Privacy Policy.

6. Not medical advice

Althio supports clinicians. It does not diagnose or treat, and it does not replace professional judgement. AI-generated content can be wrong, and a qualified clinician must review it before relying on it.

Althio is not an emergency service. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 or your local emergency number. In the United States you can also call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline.

7. Fees

Fees for paid services are set out in your order form or agreement with us.

8. Our property

The services, including our software, design and content, belong to Althio and its licensors. These terms do not give you any rights in them other than the right to use the services as allowed here. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

9. Suspension and ending

You may stop using the services at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or if we need to protect the services or other users. Sections that by their nature should continue after access ends will continue.

10. Disclaimer

The services are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties beyond those in a signed agreement with us, and we do not promise the services will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Althio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us for the services in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100 if you paid nothing.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new date. If you keep using the services after a change, you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

14. Contact us

Questions about these terms can be sent to support@althio.ai or by post to Althio, Inc., 131 Continental Dr, Suite 305, Newark, DE 19713, United States.
